Alex Prachthauser, a tattoo artist with over a decade of experience, specializes in crafting unique designs in collaboration with her clients. Originating from central Florida, she pursued her education in Hong Kong, earning her Bachelor's in Illustration from SCAD HK and completing her tattoo apprenticeship at Soul Canvas Ink.
Alex maintains a multidisciplinary art practice as a ceramic artist and painter. She believes in the importance of staying active in other mediums to positively influence her tattoo career.

Booking infd
When booking a custom piece with Alex, the first step is a consultation appointment. Consultations are held in person at E.T.O. Tattoo Studio, or via Zoom for clients travelling from out of town. These appointments are typically 15–30 minutes long, and clients are welcome to book multiple consultations before moving into the drawing phase.
During your consultation, it’s helpful to bring visual references and to have some ideas about placement, size, budget, and the elements you’d like included in your tattoo. That said, it’s completely okay if you don’t yet have a clear vision. Sometimes the first consultation is simply about exploring possibilities, and multiple meetings may be needed to fully develop the concept before settling on a final direction.
At your consultation, please ask for a quote or discuss a design budget with Alex. Your quote will include drawing time, tattoo time, and all materials required to complete the piece. Based on the scope of the project, Alex will also be able to estimate appointment length and advise you on how to prepare so you’re comfortable on the day of your session.
Deposits are collected approximately one month prior to your tattoo appointment. Please visit the bookings page for full details on deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling policies.
Please note that Alex is severely allergic to the active ingredients in numbing cream; please do not use it or anything containing Lidocaine or Prilocaine.
